On my way to the Nishinasuno Library, I saw the crepe food truck "bretagne" set up in front of the municipal building, so I stopped by on my way back after returning some books.

I had dinner at Komatsu Shokudo, a restaurant and izakaya near Nishinasuno Station.

I went to Komatsu Shokudo, a 2-minute walk from Nishinasuno Station, for dinner and a quick drink. I had the spicy in a delicious yakisoba, oden, and grilled rice balls, and everything was so good.

I ordered the “Pork Loin Cutlet Set Meal” at Tonkatsu Takada near Nishinasuno Station.

I tried the Pork Loin Cutlet Set Meal at a tonkatsu specialty shop called "Tonkatsu Takada," about a 6-minute walk from Nishinasuno Station. The pork was super juicy, with savory flavor spreading through every bite, and the fat had a light, pleasant sweetness. Paired with the slightly sweet, toasty sauce, it was a perfect match—and my rice disappeared without me even noticing.

Dinner at “Torimasa,” the famous izakaya near Kuroiso Station known for its amazing complimentary otoshi!

From Kuroiso Station's West Exit, it's a 9-minute walk to Torimasa, a yakitori izakaya famous for its amazing otoshi. I chose the tuna natto, and it was incredibly satisfying—the portion size was unbelievable for an otoshi, and it tasted like a full-fledged side dish. The yakitori was also fantastic, especially the negima skewers, where the balance between the meat's savory richness and the sweetness and smoky aroma of the green onions was absolutely perfect.
Kuroiso Station

I had tantan noodle and gyoza at the specialty restaurant “Tantan-tei” near Kuroiso Station.

I visited Tantan-tei, a tantan noodle specialty shop just a 4-minute walk from Kuroiso Station's West Exit, and had their “Large Tantan Noodles” & “Five Handmade gyoza.” The mellow richness of sesame paired perfectly with the chewy, medium-thin noodles! The handmade dumplings were large and very satisfying to eat.
Nishinasuno Station

I had the “Chashu Noodles” at Menya Hideyoshi, a ramen shop near Nishinasuno Station.

Menya Hideyoshi, a ramen shop just a 3-minute walk from the west exit of Nishinasuno Station, is famous for its light and refreshing soy sauce ramen. This time, I visited around lunchtime and had the "Chashu Ramen."
BREAD

A 3-minute walk from Kuroiso Station, purchase seasonal bread at RAKUDA, a bakery featuring homemade yeast bread.

I visited RAKUDA, a bakery using homemade yeast and domestic wheat, located just a 3-minute walk from Kuroiso Station's West Exit. The seasonal breads (“Shungiku and Cheese” and “Chestnut Sesame Shokupan”) were absolutely delicious.

I visited the long-established confectionery shop "Meijiya" in front of Kuroiso Station and purchased "onsen manju," "Nasuno bokka," and "gomajoyō." Each confection showcased the deliciousness of its ingredients.

After work, I suddenly craved yakitori, so I searched near Nishinasuno Station and found the izakaya yakitori spot "Torihira" just a 2-minute walk from the West Exit. I popped in to check out the menu and the atmosphere.
