I visited the soba restaurant Kisoba Fuyou, just a minute's walk from Kuroiso Station's West Exit, for lunch and had the tempura rice bowl set (hot soba). With the weather turning much colder recently, the warm tempura rice bowl and soba were the perfect combination!

It was a rainy, drizzly day outside. Today felt like the perfect “reading day.” I headed to Miruru, the Nasushiobara City Library, and I stopped by the café inside — Morricone — for a short break and treated myself to peanut ice cream.

I visited the Kuroiso branch of "Shelen Baum", a bakery where you can enjoy not only sweet breads and sandwiches but also cakes and traditional Japanese sweets. The moment I stepped inside, the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air, instantly lifting my spirits!

I took the free shuttle bus from Nasushiobara Station to the Cheese Garden inside Nasu Garden Outlet and ate the “5-Cheese Cake Assortment.”

A long-established ramen shop near Kuroiso Station! Real visit & review of “Marushinhonke.”

A 5-minute walk from Kuroiso Station, I visited the long-established ramen shop ‘Marushin Honke’, in business for 60 years, to check out the menu and atmosphere. The chicken bone-based soy sauce broth paired perfectly with the medium-thick, curly noodles!
