Review of my actual experience visiting
The establishment is divided into a first-floor and second-floor section; the first floor is non-smoking, but smoking is permitted on the second floor.
Since I don’t smoke, I took a seat at the counter.

Ordered Menu and Price
This time I was just having a quick drink and bite, so I only ordered two dishes.
- Fresh Draft Beer (650 JPY)
- Otoshi* (500 JPY)
- Lean tuna (1,200 JPY)
- Tsukimi Tsukune** (680 JPY)
*Otoshi is a small appetizer that automatically comes with your table at an izakaya. It’s like a cover charge that comes with food.
**Chicken meatballs with egg yolk
Otoshi
The otoshi was a spaghetti salad made with imitation crab, cucumber, and onion tossed in a mayonnaise-based dressing.

Lean tuna
The lean tuna is topped with tamagoyaki and garnished with shiso leaves, creating a beautiful contrast of red, yellow, and green that stimulates the appetite.

The tuna had almost no sinew and a nice, firm, springy texture.
The more I chew, the richer that deep, lean tuna flavor spreads in my mouth—simple, but very satisfying.
The tamagoyaki on the side was gently sweet with a soft, comforting taste.
After the bold tuna, it really helped reset the palate and worked perfectly as a little break between bites.
Tsukimi Tsukune
Sweet and savory sauce clings to the chicken meatballs, while the egg yolk glistens.
Just looking at it, I know this dish is a winner.

When I broke the yolk and mix it in, the sweet-savory sauce instantly becames milder.
The richness deepens, making the meatballs even more delicious.
This combination is truly the best!

It was a well-crafted tsukune that remained enjoyable right to the last bite.
The atmosphere inside
I removed my shoes at the entrance before entering.
The interior has a clean, refreshing feel.

As for the service, it felt pretty low-key, for better or worse.
The staff did what was needed, but if you’re expecting super friendly or chatty service, it might feel a bit lacking.
The counter seats are right in front of the kitchen, so depending on the timing, I might overhear some casual kitchen chatter, which was slightly distracting.
That said, they don’t bother me unless I speak up first, so if you prefer to eat quietly and be left alone, it can actually feel like a calm and comfortable place.
